Do I need a trial?
Trials are important to help us understand the look you want to achieve for your big day.
It ensures everyone is clear on what is wanted & how it will look, it also gives you a chance to wear the product, make sure you’re happy & that it wears all day.
How long will it take?
Trials - allow approximately 1½ to 2 hours
Wedding day makeup - we will work with you to determine start and finishing time allowing for the important (and celebratory) interruptions.
What does a trial involve?
Our makeup trials include a personal consultation in the comfort of your own home (or a location that suits), where we discuss makeup style options together with the finer details of your wedding. From wedding dress style and colour, to flower choices, hair style and photographer arrival times – we’ll put together the right customised makeup plan for you.
How long will it take?
For trials, allow approximately 1½ to 2 hours, this allows enough time to discuss, create and record all the details for the big day.
For wedding day – we will work with you to determine start and finishing time allowing for the important (and celebratory) interruptions.
For special occasions – 45mins – 1 hour depending on requirements.
How do you remember what I liked?
Once you’re happy with the trial, your makeup artist creates a personal face chart along with taking photographs of all styling as record for the important day. A trial is recommended at least 6 – 8 weeks before your wedding.
What do I need to bring to my trial?
We suggest you bring to any images, photographs, colour schemes, and accessories with you. (We always welcome any ideas you may have…)
Nicole will assist in establishing the look you are after by bringing style guides and images of previous work if required.
What if I don’t know what ‘look’ I am after?
Easy, our artist work with you to suggest colours that suit your skin tones, wedding theme or favourite colours.
Still undecided, for a small additional fee, the makeup artist will create 2 separate looks / colour themes and this will help you make an informed decision about your perfect look, these will both be photographed & documented for reference.
When can I book?
You can book anytime, the majority of trials are conducted on weekends to allow enough time to see in the sunlight & ensure you can enjoy your makeup on a night out.
What areas do you cover?
We service most areas of Sydney and the Central Coast.
How do I confirm my booking?
To secure your time & date, a booking fee of 30% of the total payable amount and is deducted from your final payment. All payments can by made by cash or bank deposit/transfer.
Booking fee’s are payable either before or at your trial and are non-refundable if booking is cancelled within 4 weeks of event. The balance of payment is due either on or before the event, and will need to be paid prior to any work is started.
Do you charge travel fees, parking or any other surcharges?
As a mobile business, we don’t charge any travel surcharges.
Hotel parking fee’s are payable by the client if free parking is not available within a reasonable distance.
Really early starts & public holiday may occur surcharges.
What products do you use?
We use and recommend a wide range of the best professional makeup products. Quality makeup is so important as is choice of colour and finish since it allows us tailor that special look for you.
We stock many well known brands and specialist makeup artistry products include MAC, Jane Iredale, Gorgeous Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Stilla, Ben Nye and many more.
